What will you find at Mulberry's Farm?

Our touring park on Anglesey offers just 5 large gravel hardstanding pitches (9mx6m). In addition each gravel pitch comes with its own private grassed area giving you more space and the opportunity to laze in the sun. Each pitch benefits from 10 amp electric hook up and water hook up points. We welcome campervans, motorhomes and caravans, but we do not allow 'car camping'. Please note to protect our grass all awnings must be placed within the gravel area therefore appropriate ground pegs will be required. Chocks may also be required.

Forget having to squeeze your tent in, we have designed Mulberry's Farm to offer a choice of huge camping pitches for our campers!

Never pitch up on a patch of mud again! We have 4 foot access bark/grass luxury camping pitches (tents only) all with EHU, a picnic table and a 'hot' gravel area to allow guests to use their own cooking facilities without the worry of burning the grass. Guests tell us these are some of the most unique camping pitches available as they all have their own entrance.

In addition to this we have provided an additional 3 acres of 'traditional' camping space with just 6 extra large individual pitches, all with their own entrance. One of these pitches has electric hook up (and a picnic bench) and the other 5 are off grid (they do not have a picnic bench) These also have a 'hot' gravel area.

All of our extra large pitches will give you a feeling of space that is rare these days. To help out we've recently planted over 10000 trees and hedging plants to sculpt the pitches but we may have to wait a year or 2 for our new trees to grow for full effect. In the meantime enjoy the open air and relax in the sun! For stays over 7 days on our grass pitches  we ask that you move your tent to a fresh piece of grass within your pitch halfway through your stay, this is to keep the grass in good condition for all of our guests.

All of our camping guests have access to our 'Info Shed' where you will find a freezer for re-freezing your ice packs and phone charging points. Food cannot be stored here due to Helath & Safety.

Whilst each of our individual and private pitches are very spacious for the industry, we do not accept units larger than a 'standard' 6 person tent (no more than 7m x 4m) 

Limiting tent sizes allows us to protect the ground from excessive wear and to ensure the camping experience is enjoyable for all guests, but it is definitely not so we can squeeze more in! If you know that your tent is larger than the average 6 person size or has an additional awning fitted please contact us before booking.

Please note we only allow 1 tent and 1 car space per pitch, with no group bookings allowed (beyond 2 pitches with a maximum of 2 people per pitch). All tent pitches are foot access with wheelbarrows on hand to help you with your kit and you are never far from your car. Please note we do not have room for trailers, boats, jet ski's etc.

Guests love our shower cabins! Each cabin is fully equipped with shower, wash basin, toilet, chair,, complimentary eco-friendly/biodegradable hand & body wash and a dividing curtain. These spacious areas make it a more enjoyable holidaying experience.

Enjoy free WiFi on us! Available across the site, just in case you get bored of the peace and quiet and the star lit skies. Please note: Some areas of Cae Helyg have less signal due to our trees. Please contact us so we can allocate a suitable pitch if access to the 21st century is particularly important for your stay! 

We have the traditional sheep, chickens and ducks that you'd expect on a smallholding, but our main crop is willow. Around the site you'll find 22 different varieties of willow which is coppiced annually to create basketry willow, eco friendly kindling, willow water for gardeners and a whole host of structures and sculptures. So you'll literally be camping amongst our harvestable crops!

Trust us we don't have to supply the animals during your stay so watch out for some of our wilder friends. Depending on when you visit you could spot rabbits, foxes, pheasants, finches, buzzards and kites to name a few. Don't forget to keep a close watch on our red squirrel boxes and enjoy our wild flower 'meadow' project. Just a short walk away you'll find the RSPB Valley Wetlands or enjoy some of the many miles of coastal path to spot grey seals and porpoises. 

At the heart of the site is our Info Shed where you'll find loads of local information to plan your stay and maybe try a few of the phrases from our Welsh language zone. There's also a freezer for you ice packs and phone charging points. Best of all, this is where you'll find freshly laid eggs from our own hens, farmhouse baking and the occasional bag of homemade sweets along with logs, kindling and marshmallows for your fire pit.

Mulberry's Farm is a gated site with CCTV to enhance your security whilst on and off site.

Also on the farm you'll find; grey waste and chemical waste disposal (please use 'green' products at all times), communal water standpipes and washing up area with complimentary eco-friendly/biodegradable washing up liquid. 

As part of our environmental policy we want to do our bit, but also understand that when on holiday recycling waste is often not high on the agenda. With this in mind we have commissioned our waste partners (Gaskells Waste) to recycle the sites waste at their depot. Using the latest technologies they are able to filter recyclable material meaning you don't have to. So rest assured one bin does not mean one destination for our waste.  We can not recycle camping equipment,  BBQs, chairs or other bulky waste so please ensure you take it home!
